Cartec Fittings are manufactured by Stamperia Carcano Giuseppe, spa in Italy. They have been producing first class forgings since 1960.
All the Cartec forgings are approved by the German standards company BG Holz und Metall. This can be identified with the quality mark "H92" on every piece.
This ISO 9001-2008 plant ensures complete material traceability on each product.
- This shortening device provides a (pocket) that the chain seats directly into. This allows for an (in-line) pull as it relates to the chain leg.
- Designed to attach directly to a length of chain via the engineered clevis head. This engineered head prevents hook to chain mismatch.
- Grade 100 alloy steel
- Increase in working load limit by at least 25% as compared to a similar product in Grade 80
- Tough powder coat finish
- Built in latch that does not allow the chain to become disengaged from the chain pocket while not under load.
